This customer's car was actually stripped using soda blasting, before being taken to Austec to be stripped properly.
Being a project car, it was not painted immediately.
Our dry stripping method does not remove rust protection, such as galvanisation, so this WOULD NOT happen with Austec!
Notice under the car, the black areas have not been stripped, as soda blasting can result in an uneven finish.
Soda Blasting does does not remove body fillers, as can be seen on this sun-roof panel.
Notice the white plastic media particles? As they are small and extremely light, they are easily air-blown out of even the thighest crevices.
